‘Charivari’ are hunting amulets that are much prized in Europe for their ability to bring success to the hunter. By the act of wearing the magical charms each animal would supernaturally give its abilities and attributes to the hunter. ‘Charivari’ are also supposed to not only adorn the hunter and show his prowess, but also protect the wearer from both illness and danger.
