A pair of identical female twins, with a diamond shape carved around the umbilicus and very pronounced genitals. Both have carved bracelets and an unusual carving of three triangles at the hairline, which could represent scarification or part of the hairstyle. Their large almond shaped eyes are carved with eyelashes all around them.
19th / early 20th century
Possibly Ibadan area, but a very unusual pair.
