This pouch, which is in a fine condition, evenly balances native American concepts with the naturalism of European floral design. The leaves and flowers depicted in small circles and ovals are fairly abstract and colour is used imaginatively to produce a memorable effect. The composition is based on the traditional and indigenous double curve motif.
