Size : 13 cm long, 9.5 cm dia. – 5¼ ins long, 3¾ ins dia.
Coconut shells have for many centuries been used for all kinds of treen. They have been carved into flasks, bowls, cups, spoons and boxes, and as early imports into Europe they were great rarities and costly objects carved by skilled craftsmen for many of the courtly 'wonder' cabinets.
