Size : 31 cm high , 28 cm wide , 5½ cm deep – 12¼ ins high , 11 ins wide , 5½ ins deep
Brought back by sailors as prized exotic curiosities from the south seas 'Coco de Mer' are the largest known seeds in the world . Originally found floating in the sea they became known as 'Coco de Mer' , in fact they are the immense nut produced by a tall palm tree native to the Seychelles .
This particularly unusual 'Coco de Mer' has both a female and male side .
