This handsome German baroque walnut bureau-cabinet is in three parts all of which are inlaid with panels of birdseye maple. The three drawers to the serpentine base all retain their original brasses, as do the other smaller drawers. The central cupboard operates a locking mechanism for the three small drawers on either side. The slant front having two long drawers to the sides. the whole bureau resting on turned bun feet.
