This beautiful Dutch, exotic wood writing box is in outstanding condition. It is complete with all of its original semi-precious stone and enamel mounts and interior fittings. It is of such a high quality of workmanship it suggets it was made for an important courtly gift, and has since been carefully kept and preserved for over 300 years

The interior complete with original silk lining and padding, silver inkwell and pounce pot, original exquisite silver crisslework quill pen and silver key.
